| Shanti
Mandir is a two CD set and includes Vandana, which was previously released on
cassette only. All of these Indian chants are recorded by Brahmacharini Mirabai
and musicians from the Yogoda Satsanga Sangeet Kala Bharati (Yogoda School of
Indian Music). Instruments used during these recordings include harmonium,
bells, conch, cymbals, flute, sitar, tabla, tanpura and vichitra veena. Most of
the chants are sung in Hindi, however the original English lyrics of
Paramahansa Yogananda's chants, along with English translations of the bhajans,
are provided in an accompanying booklet.
