Really good opal jewelry is surprisingly difficult to find. Really good uplifting opal jewelry designed by a devotee is even harder to find, but we've done it! Tom Whitaker lives in Southern California and has loved opal all his life. Ten years ago, he decided to manifest his love and create beautiful jewelry.

Australian opal is known to have extraordinary color and quality. To make sure that only the finest opal is used, Tom travels himself to small mining camps beyond the middle-of-nowhere in Australia, to search for quality opal and good prices. Crikey Mate!
We'll let Tom explain how he obtains such beautiful opal at affordable prices - he says,
"I was really surprised to discover that stores selling quality Australian opal at reasonable prices were practically non-existent. Even all of the jewelry-sections of department chain stores I visited only sold "imitation" laboratory created opal, and that type of "synthetic opal" pales in comparison to "natural, real opal." Not only were the brilliant colors of real, vibrantly-colored Australian opal difficult to find, but on the rare occasion when I did find "quality opal" products, the prices were too high. And so was born the idea for this line of "affordable, quality opal jewelry.""
