This two CD set includes thirty of Paramahansa Yogananda's Cosmic Chants performed by SRF devotees in Spanish. As our Spanish is even worse than our harmonium playing, we can't comment a great deal on the performance, but this does seem a little formal considering it was performed by Argentineans, who are usually so exuberant.

This is my favorite CD from SRF.  It's also my most-used SRF CD for after meditation, as it is very meditative in quality.  It's a great way to practice my Spanish as well.  With the 2 discs, there are many chants offered on here.  Much of the translations from Yoganandaji's English are literal, but some are not.  I like them all.  One example, 'showers of honey (in) the heart of the devotee' is the Spanish translation for part of 'Thou art my life' - the poetic beauty of Spanish language comes through so well. And I prefer the Spanish version of Ever New Joy over the English, as the Spanish sounds flow so sweetly.
