We have seen many beautiful altars over the years, but this one is in a class of its own. It is a work of art and love, and is worthy to be the focus of any sacred pace. It is a masterpiece.

Constructed from imported Italian marble and a special hi-tech resin, the altar is incredibly beautiful and very strong. Measuring 33" long by 12" high, the altar is large enough for small groups and centers and also small enough to be used as a very special personal altar. It is portable, weighing just 28 pounds, so if group meditations are sometimes held in different homes, it is easy to transport.

The Italian Marble Altar is designed and built by Frank Marquette, a devotee from Los Angeles who is a genius at creating incredible things. Frank used to own his own creative engineering business in New Zealand and made a name for himself by being able to build anything that theme parks or movie studios could imagine. No wonder he was able to make this altar! Each element has been meticulously designed and finished, right down to the fine filigree work above each of the arches – click on the alternate images above to see some of the details. In the center is a spiritual eye made from gold, silver and a deep blue enamel. Each altar image has been carefully stenciled in three-dimensional relief, just like the altar pictures in the chapel at SRF’s headquarters in Los Angeles.

Every altar is built to order with a delivery of two to three weeks. Given the materials and time that go into each altar, the price could easily be more than $500, however Frank is very keen to keep the price low in order to make it affordable for as many people as possible. Thank you Frank!

When I saw the beautiful Altar on your website, it brought back all the majesty & reverence associated with my memories of Master's temples. When it arrived - so beautifully packed - and we opened it together, we were stunned at its beauty. So lovingly carved & beautifully made. As the family meditate infront of the Altar we feel embraced by the Masters & transported to California. What a blessing. Incidently the Star in the Spiritual Eye earings is exquisite. Beautifully designed & crafted.
