This is the most comprehensive collection of bhajans, kirtans, chants and instrumentals of Paramahansa Yogananda's Cosmic Chants available. In addition to the many SRF CDs, there are a surprising number of excellent recordings made by devotees, dedicated to Paramahansa Yogananda.
With regard to meditation, Yoganandaji said, "Chanting is half the battle". Then why not let some of these uplifting and devotional CDs go to battle for you? There is no easier way (that we are aware of) to get into your meditation after a hectic day, than to fire up the Ipod and listen to one of these beautiful renditions of the Master's chants.
Music is particularly subjective, but we have endeavored to give a fair description of each CD to help you narrow you search. Most importantly however, we recommend that you listen to the sample tracks provided and make up your own mind. There is plenty to like.
